There are many ways to reach Warsaw: by car, by train and by plane. The last one is obviously the most convenient for foreigners. So when you arrive at the Warsaw Airport how to get to the city? Below you can find some tips:
If you are in Warsaw on business, to get to the meeting place you should take a taxi. When you are leaving the arrival hall at Warsaw airport, there are many private taxi drivers waiting for you and trying to offer you their services. I suggest ignoring them. They usually charge for the service much more than the corporate taxies which are recommended by the airport. It takes approximately 20 min by car from the airport to the city center, depending on the traffic, of course, and the cost is around PLN 40 (10 EUR).

The most convenient bus to reach the city center is number 175.
It is best to buy the ticket in one of the shops at the airport. Theoretically a bus driver should sell you a ticket, but I have experienced that very often they don’t want to do that. On the other hand, please do not risk traveling without a ticket, even for one stop. Ticket controls in these buses are very frequent!!!!! You should validate your ticket immediately after getting on the bus, otherwise the ticket is not valid. In order to find all the information about prices please see the link below.
So far there is no other public transport to take a traveler to the city center, but soon the new train service should run between the airport and the train station “Warszawa Śródmieście”, station located in the city center, however it is not the main one.
